I have worked to build an online alumni and donor community through the Badger Chemist News website and produce an annual alumni magazine – Badger Chemist, sharing engaging, relevant stories that feature cutting edge research, innovation, outreach and gift impact. I also handle the annual Day of the Badger giving event activities and promotion to more than 7,000 chemistry alumni, faculty, staff and students.

At Cleco Corporation, a NYSE-traded electric utility in Louisiana, I served as chairperson of the Cleco Fan Drive, which benefits low-income, elderly customers. In this role, I led a team of 30 employees in increasing funds raised from $10,000 in 2008 to $22,000 in 2009 and created a benefit cookbook in 2011. I also hosted live radio remote broadcasts and increased publicity by working with the media to promote distribution of fans to Councils on Aging throughout the state.
