I lead communications strategy for mission-driven organizations.

My experience across industry, higher ed, media, and advertising has centered on developing audience-focused, integrated messaging, strengthening brand identity, advising leaders, and building effective communication teams. I’ve led messaging through crises, organizational change, and major digital initiatives, including website redesigns, with a strategic and empathetic approach.

My work spans advancement messaging, managing crisis and issue communications, executive advising, and translating complex topics, including scientific research and healthcare, into clear, accessible narratives for general audiences. I also value mentoring communicators and supporting their professional growth, helping teams build confidence and do work they find most meaningful.

In May of 2026 I will complete a Master of Science in Strategic Communication and Information, strengthening my work in audience analytics, organizational communication, and data-informed storytelling to support institutional resilience and reputation.

Monarch caterpillar, chrysalis, and butterfly
The photos above show the stages of monarch development. While at LSU, I worked on a monarch research project which assessed possible correlations in climate change and monarch wing sizes. I also studied a virus that infects caterpillars, sandflies as vectors of leishmaniasis, and how to disrupt the cycle of mosquito reproduction. [Photos by Tatum Lyles Flick]
